Is your focus on the rain or the potential of the sun?

Here in New England we are used to weather being a factor in some of our clothing choices - in the winter, you want layers, in the summer, bring that water bottle for the heat and humidity as well as shorts and maybe a sweater for the evening. If you prepare a little then your experience of your day is different - you smile and pull out the umbrella, the hat or the jacket this month.

We can't control all the shifts in the weather or the shifts in our business - what are the layers you bring to your business. Do you have an overall strategy you can go back to when you are feeling stuck or overwhelmed to remind you of your goals.

I use the Anthony Robbins RPM strategy. Sunday's I spend an hour of power planning for the week ahead - what results do I want to achieve, why and what would be the massive action to get me there...then the trick - schedule it in your week. Your overall goal may be a marketing strategy - your first step is to hone your niche and you decide you want 30 minutes to brainstorm that - brainstorming is what you schedule! Once scheduled you don't have to worry about it - just keep your planner close and you will get it done because you have scheduled it.

Leave time in your schedule for the unexpected so you don't feel over stressed from one activity to another - don't be shy schedule your down time!

It may be great to wish for the sunshine - but your business shines when you set goals and schedule the time to take on the first small step to get you there!

How can I see the perfection in this moment?

When at Anthony Robbin's Date with Destiny (Dec/08 Orlando) Tony's wife Sage shared with us her primary question - how can I see the perfection in this moment - a good question for these days of challenge, uncertainty and huge national impending debt. I have been asking clients this questions and we have been pondering that when put that way there is plenty perfect - health, family, friends, warmth, on the east coast we have been having warmer days with the promise of spring!

Building momentum is like building a muscle, practice, practice, practice - how will you build your positive, optimistic muscle.

I started a gratitude journal and have been writing down 10 things I am grateful for each morning on arising and each night on going to bed. Building the gratitude, optimism muscle, it take some discipline to keep the cup half full, but the rewards are immeasurable!

This couple snagged a tray from the MFA in Boston on a recent snowy day and there was lots of laughter as they found their perfection sliding down the hill on their improvised sled!

Have a blessed day!

What is possible for you today?

I was reflecting this morning on all the things that are possible - what would it be like to feel no boundaries, sure there are physical boundaries...that is a cliff edge...but no boundaries inside - I keep reflecting on the iPEC Foundation Principle "There are no mistakes" how freeing.  What is your freeing thought today?
watch this video and dance for real or in your mind!  Have your best day!
